Present a Webinar: How to Share your Screen

Screen share, also known as desktop sharing, is the practice of sharing the contents of your screen with another device or multiple devices. This can include all the elements on a screen or simply one window, which allows for complete control over the visibility of your desktop.
While sharing your screen, your presenters may continue to air the webcam portions to the audience. Allowing for both screen share and webcam video to take place at the same time.

To ensure screen share is enabled on your event.
Make sure to enable screen share within General Settings. By default, screen share is disabled for all webinars.


Screen sharing is currently available for FirefoxGoogle Chrome, and Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based version 79.0+).

Google Chrome

Locate the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu and click it to start your setup. 



After clicking on the Screen Sharing icon you will be presented with two choices, one to present your entire desktop and one to present a single application.



Simply select one and click [share]. The following will be at the bottom of your screen, you can elect to hide it or use it to stop your screen sharing. 



You may also stop your screen sharing by clicking on the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu, which will have a red indicator now to show you are actively sharing your screen.



Firefox

Locate the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu and click it to start your setup. 



After clicking on the Screen Sharing icon you will be presented with the following prompt.



Where you can either present your entire desktop or present a single application.



Whatever you select above, to present your entire desktop or present a single application, the following window will appear, simply click Allow. 



Unlike Google Chrome, you will not see a preview of what you are sharing and there is only one way to stop your screen sharing. To stop your screen sharing click on the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu, which will have a red indicator now to show you are actively sharing your screen.



Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based version 79.0+)

Locate the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu and click it to start your setup. 



After clicking on the Screen Sharing icon you will be presented with three choices, one to present your entire screen, one to present an application window, and one to present a Microsoft Edge tab.



The following will be at the bottom of your screen, you can elect to hide it or use it to stop your screen sharing. 


You may also stop your screen sharing by clicking on the Screen Sharing icon on the lefthand menu, which will have a red indicator now to show you are actively sharing your screen.
